Abstract: The purpose of this report was to undertake a review of Department Transport (Highway Engineering Division) to undertake a review of Departmental Standard TD10/81, Police Observation Platforms on Motorways. The purpose of the study was to critically review the advice contained in the current standard, update the contents of the standard in-line with current practice and, if appropriate, propsoe new layouts for police observation platforms on motorways.
