The micro-Deval test in a wet or dry form is used elsewhere in Europe as the means of determinign the abrasion resistance of aggregate. In this report the relation between these tests and the British Standard aggregate abrasion test is established for several types of aggregate. The behaviour of limestone and blast-furnace slag aggregates in the micro-Deval tests is discussed.
