       Notes - general: Abstract: Asphapol 2000 has been shown to improve
                        certain aspects of the performance of rolled asphalt
                        without apparent adverse effects.  A limited programme
                        of laboratory tests has therefore been carried out to
                        quantify the extent of the increase in stability and
                        resistance tp permanent deformation of a mix when
                        Asphapol 2000 is added.
