       Notes - general: The eastbound carriageway of the M62 motorway between
                        junctions 12 and 14 was remarked in Jume 1991 to
                        provide four narrow lanes.  This was undertaken as a
                        trial to increase capacity on this heavily trafficked
                        section of motorway pending widening to four full
                        width lanes.  This interim report provides feedback on
                        the first five months of operation of the narrow
                        lanes.
